Helen is an ardent campaigner for the environment and rural businesses and came to talk to Irene and son Wayne about the issues faced by horticultural businesses across the country.

Wayne explained that nurseries like Heathwood need greater commitment from the government about future tree planting projects. Also attending the meeting was David Lydiat of The Horticultural Trades Association who raised the issues relating to peat-free growing and border-trade challenges.
